Gunung Berembun is a popular destination for outdoor recreation enthusiasts, especially for hiking. You can also have a picnic at Lata Berembun, which is located on the hiking trail to the summit of Gunung Berembun.

To get to the location of the crashed plane, hikers need to continue the ascent from the summit of Gunung Berembun towards Gunung Telapak Buruk. The distance from the summit to the crash site is approximately 2.8 km and takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours of travel.
