The gateway to the legendary Trans Jerging trail — four peaks, steep jungle climbs, and highland views that make every burning step worth it.
Background:
Gunung Suku is a highland peak within the Titiwangsa Main Range, located near Simpang Pulai on the border of Cameron Highlands, Pahang. The nearest village is Kampung Raja.
Part of the iconic Trans Jerging trail, Gunung Suku is the first of four peaks on the route, leading on to Gunung Irau, Gunung Yellow and Gunung Pass. Expect steep and relentless elevation throughout, with roughly 90 % of the trail climbing sharply through dense jungle.
The trail takes you through a cool, breezy highland environment with beautiful mossy forest, and the summit rewards you with breathtaking 360 degree views overlooking Gunung Irau and the Cameron Highlands landscape.
