Lepoh Waterfall

4 hours

Easy

Experience the refreshing beauty of Lepoh Waterfall just within 1 hour from Kuala Lumpur. This moderate trail in Hulu Langat offers a rewarding trek through rubber plantations and lush forests.

Nestled in the lush, green heart of Hulu Langat, Selangor, the hike to Lepoh Waterfall offers a perfect blend of challenging terrain and tranquil natural beauty. Known as a popular day-trip destination for locals and a hidden gem for city dwellers, this trail provides a refreshing escape from urban life.

The journey to the waterfall starts near the Asli Adventure Camp and winds through a variety of landscapes, including serene rubber plantations, bamboo-lined paths, and dense forest canopies. While much of the path is relatively flat, hikers will encounter a short but steep uphill section that can be quite a workout, but it's a rewarding challenge. Throughout the trek, you'll find large water pipes and well-trodden paths that act as a guide.

The main attraction is the multi-tiered Lepoh Waterfall itself. It's not just a single cascade, but a series of beautiful rock formations and refreshing pools. The most famous feature is the natural rock "slide," a smooth, sloped rock that hikers can use to glide into the cool, clear water below. The surrounding area is perfect for picnicking and relaxing after the hike, with plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the sounds of the cascading water.
