Bukit Kunong

4 hours

Moderate

Discover a recently opened trail near Kuala Kubu Bharu that is quickly becoming a favorite among hikers seeking a genuine challenge.

The trail begins from the same trailhead as the well-known Bukit Kutu but branches off to offer a distinct and rugged experience. The hike is defined by its significant and relentless elevation gain, pushing your physical limits from the very start. As you ascend, you are fully immersed in a pristine forest, navigating a path that is still wild and relatively untamed.

Reaching the summit is a true accomplishment, especially given the continuous uphill trek. While the views may be a bit more enclosed, the sense of achievement and the quiet solitude of this less-trafficked peak are deeply rewarding. Bukit Kunong is the ideal choice for seasoned hikers looking for a new, demanding trail to conquer.
