Gunung Besar Hantu (GBH)

Challenging

Ascend Gunung Besar Hantu (literal translation as "Big Ghost Mountain"), the highest and most challenging peak in Negeri Sembilan.

This trek is a challenging and rewarding adventure, often compared to the popular Gunung Nuang due to its long trail and demanding sections.

The journey to Gunung Besar Hantu begins at the Taman Negeri Kenaboi trailhead, with the initial section following an old logging road. As you continue, the trail involves crossing a few streams, including Sungai Kering, where a campsite is located.

As you approach the summit, you'll enter a beautiful mossy forest. This is a unique feature for a mountain of this altitude in the region. Upon reaching the peak, you'll find a spacious clearing that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys on a clear day.
