Gunung Fakir Terbang is one of Kedah’s most iconic and sought-after hiking destinations, set within the majestic Kedah–Singgora Range near Tasik Pedu. Known as the highest peak in this range, it offers a truly unique experience with its location along the Malaysia–Thailand border, where parts of the area are monitored by security forces on both sides—adding to its sense of adventure and exclusivity.

This moderate yet demanding hike features a continuous ascent through forested terrain, with steep sections and sharp slopes that keep the journey exciting.         A transfer will be arranged from the Mutiara Pedu Lake parking area to the trailhead. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes and covers about 5 km.
        Payment is made separately to the vehicle operator (cash, payable on-site): approximately RM150 per vehicle (up to 15 pax) or RM10 per person.

          All participants are covered under Hiker’s Personal Accident (PA) insurance. In the event of an incident, claims must be made directly with the insurance provider. JomHiking and its team shall not be held liable for injuries or losses beyond the coverage provided.

        5. Attendance & Refund Policy: Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled activity time. No-shows and latecomers will not be eligible for refunds.
