Gunung Meru is a popular hiking destination in Ipoh, within the Banjaran Kledang range. Known as one of Ipoh's favourite training mountains, the trail features forest paths, small waterfalls, streams, and river crossings along the route. Its location near the iconic Menora Tunnel also makes it easy to access and find.

For a unique twist, Gunung Meru sits alongside a highway so expect the sounds of nature blended with the rumble of passing cars and trucks. The summit offers scenic views overlooking Ipoh town, complete with a trigonometric station at the peak.
